That's because the Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics at Senece Area EMS work very hard to save, and improve, the lives of our patients everyday. While it is not an easy job -- oftentimes being both physically and emotionally demanding -- it can certainly be fulfilling. While most of our crew are paid, Seneca does have slots available for volunteers on most shifts.
Being a volunteer at Seneca can offer you many benefits. It is a great way for you to give back to the community and to interact with a diverse mix of people. It can provide you a unique opportunity to learn lifesaving skills, not just in the classroom, but in real world settings. It can also furnish you with valuable professional and life experience that you can apply to your future career.
